sometimes it seems like spells aren’t working, but it’s important to remember spells don’t necessarily work as straightforwardly as we want them to. 

say i do a wealth spell because i want a steady-paying job, but i just find a couple pennies on the ground. the spell did work, even if that’s not what i had in mind. 

you can try to work around this by being super-specific in the correspondances and intentions of your spell, but ultimately it’s important to keep your mind open to the possibility that your spell may not give you exactly what you asked for.
