Dirk has a couple Big Sweaters he sometimes pulls out to wear when he’s feeling Overwhelmed 

 Todd doesn’t really like the texture of sweaters (not nearly as much as flannels anyway) but. He Loves Dirk’s sweaters. Loves them, and will sometimes pull them out when Dirk’s not around and throw one on.
It makes him feel Safe and Comfortable like nothing else really has and 

At some point Dirk comes back to the apartment to find Todd. Snuggled up in one of his sweaters. It’s entirely Too Big and the sleeves are flopping over his hands and Dirk– Dirk just melts
