Well,it portrays Loki,THE Loki.
Cunning, charming and decieving. I think,if we didn’t get the character development from the dark world and ragnarok for Loki,then this would most certainly be his character.
Don’t get me wrong,i love seeing Loki as a peaceful person,or just misunderstood,or finally getting people to see that he’s doing the whole invasion because he was tortured and forced to
But this fic? Ah,it did something different, something amazing and unique anf most definitely Loki,the god of mischief and lies

We see Loki plotting revenge on the avengers, because of what they did to him,he tries to get close to them,he uncovered their secrets and turned them against each other,we see him in his element,we see him as the god he is,in his chaos and madness,and at least from what I’ve read in fics,it always had a flaw in his character, always making him be at one end of the spectrum
But Loki is multi layered,even in his madness we can see something else, something wanting to let go of everything and wanting to start over
In other fics he’s either completely mad and evil
Or misunderstood and “just that sassy smartass who reads a book and bangs one of the avengers”
Spoilers for the fic:
He starts to crack,he wants to let go,he falls in love,he realised why he loves Tony,and that he wasn’t even pretending to be someone else with him,he drops everything,he kills the ones he didn’t give a shit about
He broke Thor down,but with all the chaos he made he felt guilt, because he loved Tony,he loves Tony and wants to be with him,but not after what he’s done. He goes against his will for revenge
He lets go of everything
And then he finally can be with the man he loves
For me,i never read something like this,i remember when I waited week after week for each new chapter and the author always delivered.
It’s an awesome story with Amazing writing,and it’s so unique and different and that’s why it’s my favourite 🙂
