raven-brings-light:

Shall we recount the best thorki moments? I believe we shall.

Thor 1: The deleted pre-coronation scene—“never doubt that I love you”, Thor’s fond neck clasp and the way he stares at Loki’s mouth so appraisingly.

The deleted “we’re going to Jotunheim scene” with Thor and Loki’s easy familiarity with each other. “I love Thor more dearly than any of you.” Loki’s jealous tear-filled rage in the observatory—the way that despite his spiral into madness and his attempt on Thor’s life, that Thor has no wish to hurt him. Thor’s anguished cry when Loki lets go.

Avengers: Loki’s face when Thor shows up. After they slam down to earth, the way Thor holds his neck and they stare helplessly into each other’s eyes.

Their rooftop fight—”sentiment,” Loki says, with a tear spilling down his cheek. Loki, chained and muzzled, and Thor looking at him full of confusion and disappointment and heartache.

The Dark World: Loki showing his vulnerability to no one but Thor—“Now you see me, brother.” Thor’s empty threats, Loki’s eagerness to go with his brother.

Their familiar banter. Thor’s casual manhandling.

image

Their chat on the boat and the obvious love they still have for each other—Loki, concerned in his own selfish way for Thor’s wellbeing, Thor wishing desperately for things to be the way they used to.

The fight on Svartalfheim, how they work together, TRUST each other, save each other’s lives without hesitation. Loki dying in his brother’s arms—”I didn’t do it for him”—and the literal storm of Thor’s grief. How at the end, pretending to be Odin, Loki was still trying to comfort Thor.

Ragnarok: How they put aside their argument immediately to face a common threat together, as they always have. Thor so happy to see Loki on Sakaar. Their shared moment of mourning and the petty sibling squabble afterwards. Loki’s obvious distress for Thor during the Hulk match. The way Loki can’t keep the fond smile off his face while Thor recounts the snake story. The elevator chat—”I thought we were going to fight side by side forever.” The joy on both their faces back on Asgard, Thor when he sees Loki’s come back, Loki when he sees Thor light up. How Thor trusts Loki with a crucial part of their plan. “I’m here.”

Infinity War: “The sun will shine on us again.” Loki protecting Thor’s body with his own when Hulk rampages in. Loki naming himself Odinson before swearing his undying fidelity to his brother (yes, his brother, not Thanos) and then dying trying to save him. Thor heaving his broken body over to cry on Loki’s chest. Thor calling Loki a genius. Thor going on a grief-fueled mission of vengeance in large part to avenge his brother.

Basically, Thor and Loki, all the time, in every scene where they’re together.
