Camp Camp headcanon

Max is secretly scared of heights, and has even discovered that he suffers from something called vertigo.

He found this out by mistake when Nerf had hung some of Neil’s belongings in a tree next to his tent. Only to stop Neil from whining to the others about how cold he is, Max ends up being the one to climb up this one, tall tree and get the stuff back. (Max: Alright then… don’t let everybody climb up at once.)

He tosses the clothes and a science CDs down to a now more positive Neil and is about to make his way back down until… it hits him, one little gaze to the ground floor made a weird feeling happen inside his head, his knees, arms and back felt extremely heavy yet weak all at the same time. He’s stuck.. completely frozen stiff and clinging onto the tree for dear life.

Soon David and Gwen notice they haven’t seen the little scamp in what feels like ages until they see something blue showing up in the pines of the trees. They get him down eventually but David wonders why Max didn’t call out for help in the first place? This sorta worries him.
