Reading fanfiction would be a lot faster if I didn’t stop reading and put my phone down for a billion years after every single time I got secondhand embarrassment from the characters or I had to to stop reading cause it was too cute and couldn’t resist rolling around on my bed thinking how my so ship is amazing
Well,it portrays Loki,THE Loki.
Cunning, charming and decieving. I think,if we didn’t get the character development from the dark world and ragnarok for Loki,then this would most certainly be his character.
Don’t get me wrong,i love seeing Loki as a peaceful person,or just misunderstood,or finally getting people to see that he’s doing the whole invasion because he was tortured and forced to
But this fic? Ah,it did something different, something amazing and unique anf most definitely Loki,the god of mischief and lies

We see Loki plotting revenge on the avengers, because of what they did to him,he tries to get close to them,he uncovered their secrets and turned them against each other,we see him in his element,we see him as the god he is,in his chaos and madness,and at least from what I’ve read in fics,it always had a flaw in his character, always making him be at one end of the spectrum
But Loki is multi layered,even in his madness we can see something else, something wanting to let go of everything and wanting to start over
In other fics he’s either completely mad and evil
Or misunderstood and “just that sassy smartass who reads a book and bangs one of the avengers”
Spoilers for the fic:
He starts to crack,he wants to let go,he falls in love,he realised why he loves Tony,and that he wasn’t even pretending to be someone else with him,he drops everything,he kills the ones he didn’t give a shit about
He broke Thor down,but with all the chaos he made he felt guilt, because he loved Tony,he loves Tony and wants to be with him,but not after what he’s done. He goes against his will for revenge
He lets go of everything
And then he finally can be with the man he loves
For me,i never read something like this,i remember when I waited week after week for each new chapter and the author always delivered.
It’s an awesome story with Amazing writing,and it’s so unique and different and that’s why it’s my favourite 🙂

-You hear someone say “low-key” and you have a mini heart attack thinking they’re talking about Loki but they’re actually not.
-You can quote Loki’s “In the end, you will always kneel” speech from The Avengers.
-You go back and watch a Marvel movie solely to watch Loki on screen.
-The song that goes “I’m blue aba dee da dee da” reminds you of him.
-You would choose Loki over Thor anyday.
-You consider yourself a member of his army.
-Someone asks “who’s your favorite superhero?” And you say “Loki.”
-You see Loki with a horse and you think “oh god please no.”
-You see Tom Hiddleston and you go “oh hey look it’s Loki.”
-You can make a list of reasons as to why Loki isn’t a bad guy.
-You found yourself wanting to hug him in the first Thor movie when he found out he was a Jotun.
-You can’t imagine anyone other than Tom Hiddleston playing him in the MCU.
-You’re hoping Loki survives Thanos’ attack in Infinity War.
-Someone says “who’s Loki” and you go into a twenty-minute explanation as to who Loki is and why he isn’t a villain.
-You hear someone diss Loki and you immediately start mentally coming up with reasons to go against their claim.
-You cried/got very upset when Loki faked his death.
– You find a Thor comic book and you start flipping through it to see if Loki has anything to do with the plot.
-Remembering Loki has a small chance of surviving Infinity War makes you want to cry.
-You read about norse mythology to learn more about him.
-You find Loki cuter than Thor.
-Loki does something bad and you blame Odin.
-You got excited when you saw he was in the Infinity War trailer for like 0.02 seconds.
-You got worried during Ragnarock when Asgard blew up, thinking Loki had died (again).
-You start quoting him at random times even though nobody knows wtf you’re talking about.
Idk if any of you guys do this, but these are just things I find myself and my friends that are also Loki fans doing. And if you have done any of these things, then welcome to his army. 😊
I do literally all these things xD I’m glad you mentioned Asgard blowing up, because I was about to have a panic attack when it exploded and I hadn’t seen Loki on screen since he used the eternal flame and we didn’t see him escape and I couldn’t see him onboard the ship yet 😂 my best friend (dedicated Thor fangirl that she is) was with me and gave me so much shit when the movie was over cuz she heard me whispering “where is he is he okay please god” xD she’s like “I don’t even think that was supposed to be a worrisome moment you’re just a drama queen”
-Reading different mythology to find characters/archetypes similar to Loki
– You see two siblings on screen with the same dynamic as Thor and Loki and you absolutly love the one who is the Loki in that relationship
– Whenever you wear black and green you are absolutely in your Loki mode
