Did anyone point out yet that Mozart’s Piano concert no. 21 (the piece heard in TLD when Mrs Hudson drops the teacup) is called the Elvira Madigan because it was made popular by the 1967 swedish film of the same name, a film about (spoiler alert) two lovers who find each other despite massive obstacles that come between them, and who ultimately can’t be together and so decide to end their lives. he first kills her with a revolver then kills himself. i just think the fact that this particular film is what made this Mozart piece recognizable, a love story where the world seemed intent on keeping two people apart, and Moftiss have used Elvira Madigan most prominently in the moment that Sherlock DROPS a REVOLVER to catch the gay tea. I dunno, seems suspect.
Wow! Great find! @tjlcisthenewsexy And this in an episode where the tenor clearly circles around ‘taking ones own life’. I don’t believe in a ‘lazy universe’. :)))))
