Loki: I was worried they’d turned you against me.
Verity Willis: Are you kidding? Dude. Bros before apparent threats to national security.

bifrostgiant:

A beautiful Agent of Asgard Loki commission by Lee Garbett for New York Comic Con 2017.  He looks so great now I want all the Lokis on thrones.

Maybe next year I’ll ask for a God of Stories…

langernameohnebedeutung:

Verity: Everyone is tired, Loki. They just want to go home.

Loki: Yes, but I have to prove I’m not selfish so I don’t care what they want.

Loki: …

Loki: That sounded bad.

hottopicshatterstar:

since i’ve told a few ppl on discord who also didn’t notice this, i’m sharing it here.

one thing i noticed in a reread of aoa is that occasionally king loki refers to younger loki w/ she/her pronouns even when loki’s presenting as masc. not as a joke or an insult per se bc i didn’t even notice it until multiple rereads later

it just seemed like an interesting detail

princessamericachavez:

Hey! You know what’s an awesome book that focuses on redemption and a character actually struggling with themselves and instead of walking a typical path find a place of their own where they can be themselves instead of fulfilling anyone else’s expectations? And also has a genderfluid character?

Agent Of Asgard

You know who should read it?

Every fucking Marvel writer that keeps writing Loki as a villain.

toomanylokifeels:

Loki’s journey in Agent of Asgard will always make me emotional, because it’s Loki actually experiencing growth and emotional maturity and strength

…but most important of all, it’s about embracing who he is and learning to love himself for it even when everyone told him he was only capable of evil.

It’s really… not… about Loki becoming a hero. It’s about Loki saving himself by making some of the most difficult but ultimately freeing choices.

melrakki:

“My name is Verity Willis. Nobody’s ever lied to me, because nobody can. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always seen through any lie I’m told, no matter how small or well-intentioned.

I can’t even watch a movie. Any kind of fiction just… frustrates me. So I sit around reading about pure mathematics, programming, physics, things I know are always true.

And I try to pretend that’s enough… to lie to myself.

And I can’t. I can’t.”
