Thor often wakes to the thunk of a knife embedding itself in his door, which he retrieves, reads and returns to his sibling before continuing on his day. There are days with more than one thunk, and there are days where there are no knives and Loki greets him with their pronouns. Once after a particularly bad fight the day before, Thor was woken up by being stabbed in the side by He/Him. He washed off the blood before returning it.
Frigga has a sense for it. She is connected to her child through their shared magic, and can tell how to address Loki without being told. Loki can be relaxed around her in a way he isn’t with anyone else, because even if something changes during the day, Frigga notices and changes with it.
Odin isn’t aware that he needs to change how he addresses Loki until Frigga smacks him upside the head for misgendering them.
