my cat got hit by a car yesterrday morning.
we took him to the vet, and they kept him overnight for unconcsious xrays.
he dislocated part of his spine and damaged his back legs.
there was nothing they could do.
they had to put him to sleep a few minutes ago.

he lived over twice as long as an outdoor cat usually does, a solid 11 years instead of the expected 2-5.
