There’s a huge post of Tom hugging people. I noticed he hugs the women with two arms over or two arms under, but the men he hugs with one arm over and one arm under. I heard someone once say how men hug is often symbolic of sexual attraction, as one arm over and under signifies a desire for intimacy, as you’re pulling the person flush against you without any gap between the bodies. Do you think how he hugs men denotes a preference towards men?
Some months ago I was almost convinced that he was in a relationship with Luke Windsor (because they’re always seen together), I swear I almost believed it. Then I learned about Tom’s girlfriend during his acting school years that he surprise visited when she was staying in Paris (while she thought he was in London auditioning), scaring her to death.
BUT.
That “no gap-one arm over and one arm under” theory sounds very interesting. He does draw the men of his life as close to his heart as he can.
Since this is an almost exclusively headcanon-y blog yes, I do believe Tom doesn’t mind the… intimacy with other men. C’mon let’s face it, he’s flirted with men for the cameras on multiple occasions.
