I know I call Dirk Gently “soft” a lot but honestly, Todd had an absolutely abysmal day (discovered a gory crime scene, got fired from his job, watched his sister scream in pain and terror, gave away his last $300, had his apartment broken into multiple times, was threatened at gunpoint, saw someone shot themselves in the head accidentally, got arrested, got told he’s now a suspect in four separate murder cases) and yet he was still considerate enough to get off the bus and return a lost dog to its frantic owner.

I love the soft belligerent guitarist so much sometimes.
