#i feel like people insisting that loki’s actions in iw are ooc need to rewatch this movie #because they have become distracted with the power fantasy #and that was loki in an even worse place than he was at the end of thor #as bad as this one scene looks it is just the beginning of his downward spiral #and infinity war sees him come such a long way to a place of contentment #once he has realized that not everything about his perception of people and events #necessarily corresponded to reality and found incentive to pull himself back together #infinity war sees a loki who has found home and was not going to let it go #a loki who could finally reclaim the different parts of an once fractured identity #a loki who was as whole as he could be #and could stand up to the man who had taken advantage of his despair #and protect what was most dear to him even if it cost his own life #i just have a lot of feelings about this
