back when i was a freshman in high school there was this one art project involving hot wax so we had a huge vat of it outside of the classroom and kids were like sticking stuff in it and playing with pieces so as soon as i saw it i went OOH WAX and literally stuck my entire hand in it
and my teacher SCREAMED and several students yelled out some “oh my god”’s and i realized why as soon as my hand was submerged because that shit was very very hot but i didn’t want to be known as the dumbass who stuck their hand in burning hot wax and suffered an injury so instead of pulling my hand out and screaming i somehow managed to keep a straight face and just went “what?” and my teacher was just like “oh my god… that’s really hot wax, are you okay?” and i was just like “oh? it is? i can’t feel a thing” and just kept my hand in there for like a solid 30 seconds in excruciating pain before pulling it out
that was honestly the most fierce power move i ever pulled
im trying to make it as clear as possible to this one guy on facebook that i only like him as a friend but he seems to be very into the idea of dating me (for some fuckin reason. i wouldn’t date me) and i dont know what to do send help
quick guide for non-psychotic people:
sanity is not our goal. happiness + stability is. delusions,hallucinations,etc. and happiness are not mutually exclusive. in fact from my experience, completely getting rid of these things isn’t usually realistic.
stop treating psychosis like a fate worse then death and stop giving your opinions on how psychotic people chose to deal with their symptoms as long as they are content.keep this post going. seriously if you arent psychotic please share this with other not psychotic people

I’m real over it. If I become a foster mom to a 17 year old kid and I get the privilege of the option to adopt them? You better believe I am legally making that kid mine.

I was adopted at 13 years old and did I have problems? Fuck yes but being adopted at that age really helped me
If you refuse to adopt an older kid bc they might have preexisting problems then you are denying them the help they need
Also why wouldn’t you want a kid who already can wipe their own ass instead of having to deal with potty training, just saying
