I love the s4 score because it is beautiful and basically confirms M-Theory in the best possible way.
I’m talking about that one scene where John flirts with “E” on the bus in TST. Now, the melody that is playing (TST score; chapter “59 Missed Calls”; 0:46) is interesting because you get a version of MORIARTY’S THEME out of this.
Moriarty‘s theme: d# f# f g# .
The (let’s call it) “E”-theme: a# g f g# .
If you transpose it becomes: g# f d# f# .
Let’s put these notes together: d# f# f g# (g#) f d# f# .
As you can see, it looks like the melody is being “continued” by the “E”-theme.
So, the melodies aren’t the same but they share the same “content”.
That shows us A LOT. Let’s get from the score to the actual scene..
“E“ is a Mary mirror (I wrote a meta about that here), even though “E” is later to be revealed as Eurus, a Moriarty mirror.
(It you have no idea why I think that, here is a picture that might help:)
“E” has got the Moriarty theme but not, since it is a different version.
So, “E” is not exactly Moriarty but still has the same “content”, the same intentions as our mad villain.
As promised, Easter Eggs! (Literally :D) Wish you all a happy and fluffffffffffffy Festival! (Inspired by the Iron Easter Egg I saw in Hong Kong Disneyland!)
.
Thanks for reblogging the Easter art I drew last year!! <3<3 As a token of thanks, I draw another fluffy and sweet Easter Egg (haha) for all of you!! (BTW my style really changes throughout this year hmm, hopefully it is improvement anyways…)
i’m sure someone probably commented on this post already but this is calamity jane, they eventually move into a tiny cabin together and sing a song about how “a woman’s touch” can fix anything. i watched this movie daily when i was about 7 and now i’m a dyke
my butch lesbian professor who is well into her sixties had told me that this was her first real exposure to the concept that a woman could not only be attracted to other women, but be butch while doing it. she said this movie propelled her into her sexuality with a sense of pride and remains a cornerstone of her coming-out journey. in short, representation matters and always has.
something kinda annoying about the wlw community on here that i’ve noticed is when someone who is like a lesbian icon does something wrong none of y’all wanna call them on it or even discuss it just bc they’re a gay girl/are important to gay girls. like i know you guys saw me reblogging that link about hayley kiyoko being racist yet like only one or two people reblogged it. kate mckinnon is a transphobe and i’ve heard that gillian anderson is as well (if anyone has a link to this please send it to me) yet y’all still worship these individuals bc you don’t want to admit that someone you love can do something bad. like if we’re not gonna be critical of people creating content for our community then what’s the point of having a community at all??
“The medieval warrior, realizing the consequences of his impulsive act, immediately approached the owner of the drone and offered to pay for the damage.
The owner of the drone was so impressed by the brilliant attack that he suggested organizing a competition for bringing down “dragons” with short spears next year.
Drone owners have another year to develop a unique “dragon-like” design for their flying machines.” (x)
I am 100% cooler with this knowing that the spear-thrower realized “oops maybe I shouldn’t have done that” and tried to make it right, and that the guy who the drone belonged to was cool with it
just so everyone knows, this has already been memorialized in a runestone
Everything about this post blesses those involved with a +4 on their next Today is Good Day roll
